When I cupped Ally in my hands, I remember Isabelle then. A year ago, she was so small that I was frightened whenever I held her - that I might break her wobbly arms and tiny legs. I remember giving her baths and feeling my anxiety level rising! My mind doing a thousand 'what if's' per second. But thankfully, Isabelle, our pedia and google had taught me how hold our baby and now she's all grown up at 16 months: walking about - slamming on walls, doors and windows, with no signs of slowing down.
I then understood and learned to believe that they were built by God to survive the long haul we call life. Yes, the seemingly fragile ones are more resilient than we all think.
